Find people for the same session.
A clear post helps people decide quickly whether the time, game, and goal fit them.
Know what you are asking for
Before posting, choose the details that change who can join:
- the game and mode;
- the role or playstyle you need, if it matters;
- the date, start time, time zone, and expected session length;
- the language and the goal for the session.
A goal can be as simple as learning together, playing a relaxed set, or preparing for a scheduled activity. State it plainly instead of assuming people want the same thing.
Make the post easy to find
In Looking for Group, use the existing game tag that fits your post: League of Legends, World of Warcraft, or Other game. Then add the available activity tags that describe it: Casual, Ranked, or Raid.
Tags help people scan the forum; the post itself still needs the schedule, language, and goal.
Write a post that earns useful replies
Put the important details near the start. This fictional example is original to this guide:
Looking for two · League of Legends · Ranked
Friday, 19:30–21:30 Europe/Rome · English or Italian
Goal: two focused games, then a quick replay discussion. I play support and can flex secondary. Reply here with your role and the queue you prefer.
It says what is needed without asking strangers for private contact details. Adjust the words to your own session rather than copying a format you do not mean.
Reply in the thread
Reply in the post’s thread so the organiser and interested members can see the same answers. Say your role, availability, and any relevant preference there. Do not share a phone number, home or work address, login code, or other private information to arrange a game.
When the group is complete, update the post or add a final thread reply such as “Group full — thanks!”. That gives later readers an honest status and avoids unnecessary replies.
